Helping governments communicate during pandemics

Outbreaks of bird flu in different parts of the world left governments unprepared. Few had planning strategies or structured responses to public alarm. Thomson Foundation designed and delivered this training programme in Eastern Europe and Asia to help government officials cope in the run-up to and aftermaths of pandemics.
