Olena is responsible for the coordination and setup of all training events in Ukraine. She supports communication with donors and partners.
Olena is a Kyiv-based consultant experienced in project management, content analysis and research. Before freelancing, Olena coordinated the foundation’s largest project in Ukraine called Regional Voices.
Prior to that she worked with the humanitarian mine action unit, the Danish Demining Group to raise awareness of the risk of landmines and other explosive devices in the conflict-affected Luhansk oblast in eastern Ukraine. She also worked as information associate at the United Nations office in Ukraine and British Embassy in Kyiv where she handled social media and media liaison.
Olena holds a masters degree in Communications from College of Saint Rose in the USA as a Fulbright scholar and a MA in International Relations from Lazarski University in Poland.
She is fluent in English, Russian and Ukrainian.
