A showcase for investigative excellence
The Inquirer Awards was started in 2003 to applaud and promote investigative journalism in Jordan. Since then, it has grown to include Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Palestine, with award categories covering television, photojournalism and print.
The Inquirer Award aims to find journalists who can demonstrate their ability to examine, in depth, a significant issue that is relevant to the region and its people. All entries must be primarily aimed at an Arabic audience. The awards programme was not held in 2006 and 2010. Winners of the 2011 Inquirer Awards are due to be announced in early 2012.
The Inquirer Award project is managed by the Thomson Foundation and funded by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office. For more information email inquirer.award@gmail.com or use the Thomson Foundation contact form.
