Dr. Blerjana Bino

Dr. Blerjana Bino is Media Support Coordinator for Thomson Foundation’s programmes in Central and South East Europe. 

She has an extensive experience in management, coordination and providing mentorship to media outlets in developing their business and community engagement competencies. Apart of this, Blerjana took part in several pivotal researches and assessments for TF in the region of WB. She is also an active member of the Safe Journalists Network in the Western Balkans. 

Blerjana holds PhD in Communication Sciences and a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science – LSE. She is a former Swedish Institute Fellow at the Department of Media and Informatics, Uppsala University. She is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Centre Science and Innovation for Development (SCiDEV), working closely with academia, civil society, policy, and media and leading a network of outstanding scholars and policy researchers working on democratic development, good governance, media and communication, research to society collaborations and digital transformation.
