Sandra is responsible for organising the planning, implementation and reporting of donor projects for Thomson Foundation.
She joined the foundation in April 2021 from the LSE Middle East Centre, where she spent almost seven years in event and project management. She has also worked at Chatham House and in Arabic media.
Sandra currently volunteers for The Children’s Society as a befriender and public speaker and runs a dried floristry business which she co-founded in 2019 called Radical Blooms.
Sandra holds a BA in Politics and Economics and an MSc in Middle East Politics from SOAS University of London. She is fluent in English and Arabic and has basic French and intermediate Farsi skills.
