Reconstructing local media through digital growth strategies

This project strengthens targeted local media outlets towards sustainability through revenue diversification, improved audience knowledge and better editorial structures. It includes extensive audience analysis conducted by AKAS to inform editorial and business strategies, as well as online courses in audience analytics, understanding your audience, community journalism, growth hacking, membership and subscription models, and crowdfunding. The project takes place in three cities in regional Hungary: Pecs, Debrecen and Szombathely.
