Taking new skills to the story: environmental reporting in Zimbabwe

Thomson Foundation ran a multimedia course where journalists who specialise in environmental reporting learned new skills related to digital and social media content. The opportunity to practice those skills came on visits to regions where environmentalists claim mining and industrial development is having a damaging impact. The programme was organised by Zimbabwe Environmental Journalists Association formed after a previous Thomson Foundation training workshop on climate change.
