The content of our courses, plus their location and timing, are based on the specific needs of individual media organisations or other clients. This would normally be in the country in which a client is located.
We also offer UK-based bespoke courses to clients who want to benefit from proximity to the British media or simply experience a different, professionally-stimulating environment.
Examples include study visits to gain knowledge of UK media regulation or reporting on elections.
Our annual summer course is aimed at helping journalists adjust to the digital world. It focuses on mid-career journalists wanting to improve their digital skills and to network within an international peer group.
Participants’ places are usually funded by an employer, private sponsor or a non-governmental organisation.
Many of our former trainees have gone on to achieve the highest professional standards in their careers.
