We are working with a group of Syrian journalists and activists to help them train fellow journalists in conflict sensitive reporting. The journalists have taken part in a workshop in Turkey and are now working in Syria with the help of online mentoring from Thomson trainers.
Peace journalism is new to Syrians. We need insiders to breach the ideas to the community.
