Radio news production: from birth to broadcast

Radio journalists were challenged to discard the practice of “press release journalism” – at the time, widespread in the media of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic – research their own stories and treat them for broadcast. Journalists from all 18 provinces took part and attended a course a year later to reinforce and advance their skills.
