Britain’s capital of journalism training

Hundreds of journalists from around the globe studied in the Welsh capital at the Thomson Foundation’s Editorial Study Centre. The foundation’s headquarters were based in the city and it developed close links with University College, now Cardiff University, a leading centre for media research. The foundation now runs courses at its London centre after it returned to the UK capital in 2012.
