Federica Varalda

Federica leads project development and acquisitions across Thomson's work globally. In addition she acts as Geschäftsführerin of Thomson Media gGmbH in Germany. 

She previously held the position as Thomson’s Director of Group Operations. Federica is an experiencedmedia development professional having managed and renewed some of the Thomson’s biggest programmes of the last decade. 

She joined us after working in the development sector for non-governmental organisations and with EU institutions.

Federica holds an MA in Conference Interpreting from the University of Geneva, an MA in International Cooperation and Development (Sciences Po Bordeaux) and an MA in International Science and Human Rights from the Università degli Studi di Torino.

She is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Italian, currently learning German and Russian.
