Bashar is a media and content creation consultant whose work has taken him to countries across the Middle East and North Africa.

His training courses include TV journalism, digital verification and AI, mobile journalism and storytelling.

Bashar is a former senior presenter with BBC Arabic. He has been producing digital stories since 2002 and initiated and produced the first video content for BBC Xtra Arabic.

His training work has seen him lead projects which has included the relaunch of flagship TV news programmes and the development of specific programmes such as political and current affairs debate shows.
