Catherine Mackie

Catherine is responsible for designing training programmes for Thomson.

She has years of experience as a senior journalist with the BBC, both in front of and behind the camera, as well as on radio and online. She has interviewed thousands of people from Prime Ministers and CEOs to regular people who find themselves in the headlines.

Catherine is regularly invited to speak at international conferences and is a recipient of a Knight-Wallace Journalism Fellowship from the University of Michigan, where she developed ways to increase social diversity in news output and connect with new and underserved audiences.
