Closer ties for a stronger neighbourhood

Moldova was the venue for the first phase of a multi-million euro project led by the Thomson Foundation to support and train independent media in 17 of the states bordering the European Union. The programme has included master classes for media managers and advanced editorial and technical skills for broadcasters, print and digital journalists. A key part of the project is to build a media hub, a platform where journalists can share work with each other and organisations in the European Union.
